Skinny Snake might look like it is the classic snake game we all love but it ain’t. Of course, it does retain the core gameplay of the classic snake game but this is more of the revised game with all the reverse controls and the diagonal movements as opposed to the X-Y strict limitations of the original game. Also, this is one of the most difficult snake games out there by virtue of having to control a skinny snake. The snake is just too thin and fast moving you are going to have a fun time trying and failing and trying and failing all over again. Movement is through the left and right arrow keys.

Old skool, that is Digisnake. This is probably the barest snake game you’ll ever play ever since the original snake game and of course its subsequent iterations in Nokia mobile phones during the 90′s. The bareness of digisnake is nothing to scoff at because this is the snake game we’ve all loved from its inception. Of course, since this is the most faithful adaptation of the old skool game, this time however, the food is colored red, every fun you’ve experienced in playing this game is up here, never fading, ever glowing. Snake Hunt is a classic snake game with a very small arena to play on. Yes, it’s very small. The snake’s movement is also very fast on the get go that you will find yourself frustrated in your first try. After your initial run, all is better because you already adjusted yourself from the blazing fast travel speed of the snake. Nothing is really special in this game but the faithfulness towards its ancestor. The game plays smoothly though and requires a lot of skills since this is more of the old skool snake game than an update to the timeless classic. Movement is through the arrow key.

Worm is the name of the game. It would be actually be better if this game is named Earthworm because the worm you control is definitely an earthworm rather than a common worm. Well, earthworms are common but let’s face it, there are other worms far more demeaning out there. Meanwhile, this game retains the core gameplay of the classic snake game. Unlike any other snake renditions, Worm allows you to edit the speed the worm is travelling and the ability to toggle on or off the walls. The naming of the speed is quite amazing too, they are funny and ridiculously accurate. Movement is through directional arrows. Pause game by tapping on spacebar.

This is like the classic snake game, however, in 3D Worm, as the name heavily implies, you control a worm, in 3D!!! Like every other classic game, this game is about chasing those food items that help you elongate. In 3D Worm, you are going to eat fruits so that your worm could grow. You must also avoid hitting your tail or the walls, in 3D!! The game gets exponentially challenging as you progress, in 3D! Can you handle this very challenging snake modern rendition in 3D!? Yup, the game title pretty much tells everything except for the added gameplay mechanics of this game. There are a total of eight bonuses included in this repackaged snake game. The levels are made up of terrain unlike the usual blank arena. Also, there is a compass that will lead you to the bonuses as you traverse an entire environment. For every third food item that you eat, a special bonus item will appear the next time around. Nothing is more accurate than the very title of this snake game. This is indeed a classic snake game. It retains everything about the classic game though this one is not the really classic gameplay because you are able to move in verticals as opposed to the classic strict vertical and horizontal movements only. Also, the developers of this game are generous enough to include various skins for the snake and it’s not just a few, but lots and lots of! If you think the snake gameplay has reached and zenith, it has actually. Remember, once you reach the top, there’s no way but down. In My Charming Snake, you are going to take care of a baby snake. The snake can be dressed up to flaunt its charming side. Though you have to play the classic game of snake in order to proceed in dressing up the snake. Just take care of the baby snake that has been given to you, feed him, clean him and do things that are very necessary. The graphics of this game are amazing!

Eat more is a classic snake game with so much style and so much other things going on. Though everything is merely visual distraction, you can’t help yourself but to ask is this even necessary. This game may be the overly graphically designed game given the very simple nature of its core gameplay. Just eat the little things and ignore everything else, even if they those food items are very, very attractive and tempting. They won’t help you at all. Granted, the snake you are going to control is unique and a breathe of fresh air. I know right?

Mr. Fat Snake is a snake game in a sense. The core gameplay of this game is not really the same as the classic snake game. Instead, the initial premise is the only one retained from the convention. You control a snake across perilous level and you have to eat as many critters as you like. The snake would not elongate every time it eats up a new creature. Turtle Snake is a snake game but instead of controlling a snake, you control a turtle. Makes sense right? Yes, this game has snake game all over it but when you think about it deeper this is not really a snake game but an inspired innovation. This is reinventing of the wheel. This game is pretty much crazy at all fronts with the turtle speeding up and making things complicated like it should be. Meanwhile, the turtle will not elongate instead it will leave bombs as soon as you consume that mini cabbage look-a-like thingy. Avoid the bombs and walls and then continue with life.

The graphics of this game are pretty with all the pinkness. The entire premise is absurd but the game is pretty enjoyable. If you want a fresh take to the classic snake game without drastic changes to the gameplay mechanics. You must collect the gifts and don’t get running through the walls or the already acquired gifts that are already following you around all over the place.

Snake Without Limits is a very fun game. Of course, this game follows the snake game paradigms. All you’ve got to do is to direct the snake to black and purple roundy things. The snake will grow longer and longer while you consume more and more of those dot things. You have the option of playing the game with or without boundaries. Again, per snake gameplay mechanisms, you must not let your self get entangled to your own self or bang your head on the boundaries. Snake Runaway takes the classic snake game into new territories. The basic concept is still there but is down to the bones. The idea of consuming something and making your snake longer is indeed still there but the game is anchored not in that premise. Snake Runaway is runner game unlike any other, Canabalt popularized this genre and indeed in this one it follows true to the formula. There are several more distractions and hostile enemies to run away from aside from the electricity line that wipes your trail. There is a degree of physics gaming here too. So hop on! Robosnake is about a robot snake. Yes, that simple but that is the only simple thing in this amazingly difficult game. The entire idea is the as the old classic snake game but that is all about the same. The experience playing this game is far from other snake clones, Robosnake is controlled via mouse. That is difficult in some degree. Yes, the controls are easy to play with but it isn’t when the going gets tough, so, just let the though get in going. Go go go! You can do it, you can, you always can. See, you can’t! The level design also adds to the crazy difficulty. Movement is through mouse.

This is a classic snake game. All you have to do is help the snake in eating all of the eggs. No, you won’t be eating eggs with a snake, what you need to do is guide the snake in slithering through the ground and into the eggs while evading all of the walls and the snake’s body. Also there are fruits for your health, they add bonus score if you are a highscore chaser. This game is difficult and most of the times unforgiving. The online leaderboard is a nice touch if you want total global domination… in a snake game.

This game is called Ankomako. This is all about collecting items and watch those items follow you across the level, never ending, never blinking. Ankomako is a cute little girl collecting gifts and somehow there is a witch that isn’t so happy seeing her collecting things. Now, all you have to do is evade the evil witch while continually collecting all of the gifts. The gifts have timed appearance so you better hurry up before they disappear! Ankomako is a Japanese game, you don’t need to know squat about the Japanese language since the game is pretty straightforward and pretty graphically.

Two classic games combined, mated, and had a child and it became this game, Nibbles. Yes, the name of this game is nibbles. Not really the best name a game author could make but this game is pretty much enjoyable regardless of its title. Pacman and Snake decided to have a child and they named it Nibble. You got the body of a snake and head of pacman, with cherries, lemons and other Pacman delicacies peppered all over the levels of this game. This is, indeed, the snake game of this generation with all the crazy things going on!

This is indeed an adventure. Snake’s Adventure is taking on the classic snake core gameplay into new heights, into new levels, into an amazing adventure indeed. Snake’s Adventure was a very advanced version of classic snake. This game is on a beautiful pseudo 3D. Also, this game offers eight different stages and three levels of difficulty. Unlike the usual snake clone, Snake’s Adventures is a non-static, dynamic game. The screen is always moving forward, so you have to consume eggs along the way. Snake game convention is still here, you are not allowed to hit walls (rocks / boulders in this case) and your own body.

Super Snake is a classic snake game. It retains everything what made classic snake games very popular. It is the usual caged snake swirling all over a container looking for a tiny dot to consume. However, in Super Snake, the graphics are gratuitous with twinkling effects and multi-colored spheres and what-nots. Super Snake, on paper, is just the same as everything else you’d find here in this snake game site. This one has a good mascot though, give the authors some credit. Radioactive Snake is a classic snake game with lots and lots of twists. Also, this game features a very entertaining 2-player mode. The objective in this game is all about keeping your snake alive, keep those thoughts to yourself please. Sounds easy? Hell, no. First, you have to keep yourself alive by consuming pills or your snake will wilt. Yeah, just keep those thoughts to your self. Also, the snakes are extremely unstable, one bump and it will explode! Disregard that funky face, Caray Snake is a new snake game with different approach. One of the basic game design of classic snake games is the constant motion of the snake thing. In Caray Snake, this is not implemented. The levels are labyrinthine, with so much obstacles and walls thrown out every now and then. You will have no chance in bumping on walls because the game, by design, does not allow this. You manually move your snake thing across the levels and the only danger you have is bumping to your own body. Slither all over the place and have fun!

The author may have been sponsored by the chocolate company to create a classic snake game out of their product. OR, the author of this game just infringed the chocolate company in order to release this very sweet, and pinky, snake game. Argh! Snakes are so…evil-looking. They are gruesome, scary and just…wiggly. Python is a very modern rendition of the classic snake game. One of the big reasons to play this one is due to the fact that the graphics are cool, violent and very detailed. As soon as you see the python munching on the rats all over the place, the macabre would enlighten you. This game does retain what the snake core gameplay initially offered.
